Here are some guidelines to help as you prepare your items for the sale. Click here to see what is acceptable and not acceptable for the sale.

Supplies Needed

HANGERS – in order to protect your clothing items we only accept plastic hangers. Find plastic hangers at Wal-Mart, Target, Dollar Stores. Retail plastic hangers are acceptable too.

STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels to. You can find these at Wal-Mart, office supply stores, the Rhea Lana Store or large quantities may be purchased from Amazon.

You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc…), masking tape, scotch tape, sharpie, and safety pins. For large quantities of quality safety pins we recommend ordering from Cleaners Supply .

If you would like to print your barcodes at home you’ll need adhesive address labels size 1” X 2 5/8” (30 up). We recommend ordering from Amazon Here. Please note: all labels printed at home MUST be printed in color.

Acceptable Items

- Boy's sizes 0-20, girl's sizes 0-16 and junior sizes 1-11 in teen styles. All must be no more than 1-2 years old, clean and odor-free.

- Infant clothing - priced competitively - its abundant!
- Shoes in excellent condition
- Baby furniture and equipment
- Nursery accessories
- High quality toys, books and video games
- Sports accessories

WHAT WE DON'T ACCEPT

- Breast Pumps
- Formal or Prom dresses
- Recalled Items.
- Out-of-date clothing - It will not sell!
- Any item that is dirty, stained, torn or extremely worn.
- Items with missing buttons, broken zippers or lost parts.
- Bedding
- Battery operated toys without batteries.
- Baby equipment that is not clean or has been recalled.
- Bags of loose toys unless theme oriented (i.e. bags of all army toys, all McDonald toys, Barbie toys all cars and trucks, etc.)

Clothing

ACEPTABLE ITEMS
We will accept all Spring and Summer clothing sizes newborn through the largest teen sizes.

We will accept short sleeves, raincoats, spring/summer themed clothing, jeans, sandals, tank tops, sundresses, capris, swimsuits, swim toys, flip flops, rain boots, and spring/summer holiday items. We will also accept athletic shorts. We will not accept coats, winter boots, sweaters, or Halloween/Christmas/Thanksgiving themed clothing. Please save those items for our Fall/Winter event.

We have a 30 item limit on infant clothes.
Because of the quantity of these items we will limit each consignor to 30 of your best infant clothes from 0-9 months. The key here is to bundle! Infant clothing is in abundance at our event, consign your very best and price it competitively.

This limit is for CLOTHES ONLY. This does NOT include baby equipment, shoes, toys, blankets or other baby items.

We will only accept the following brands of Juniors clothing. Abercrombie & Fitch, Adidas, Aeropostale, American eagle, Billabong, BKE, Charlotte Russe, Converse, Forever 21, Guess, H&M, Hollister, Levi's, Lucky brand, lululemon, miss me, Nike, Pink by Victoria Secret, True Religion, Under Armour, Vans, Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, JCrew, Michael Kors, Uggs, and sports team apparel.


*Limits are in place to keep our quality high, your unsold items low and our shoppers happy. We appreciate your understanding.

Shoes

Please only bring your like-new shoes! Shoes are great sellers, so we want to make sure your shoes are easy to identify if they get separated. Please bring your best tennis shoes and summer sandals. Chaco, Birkenstock, Livie and Luca, Sun-San, NIKE, and Matilda Jane shoes are also popular year round and will be accepted.

1) Put your consignor number and price on masking tape on the bottom of the shoes, this will help if they get separated.

2) Safety pin the price tag to a shoelace or through the shoe eyelet. Put the shoes and price tag inside Ziploc bag or zip tie together.

WE WILL NOT ACCEPT SHOES WITH SCUFFED TOES, ODOR, DIRTY OR DISCOLORED SOLES. If you wash your shoes, please make sure they are completely dry before placing them in a bag.

Merchandise Prep

Please group items together so that they will equal a value of at least $4.00. They may be pinned together on a hanger. The better they look, the better they sell! Please take time to wash and iron your clothes if necessary. Please check for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, etc.

Use small PLASTIC hangers for sizes 8 and below. Use larger PLASTIC hangers for sizes 10 and above. No metal hangers, please!

Safety pin/rubber band all sets and accessories securely together. TWO PIECE OUTFITS SHOULD INCLUDE EACH PIECE ON A SEPARATE HANGER, AND THEN RUBBER BAND THE HANGERS TOGETHER AT THE TOP OR PINNED BACK TO BACK ON ONE HANGER. Both pieces need to be viewable without unpinning them.

Blankets and Loose Items

Hang and pin blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. If they are small receiving blankets, group 2 or 3 together in a Ziploc bag. Safety pin tag to Ziploc bag.

Bottles, bibs, rattles, socks, and bows should be grouped together appropriately in Ziploc bags. Seal with clear packing tape and pin tag to Ziploc bag. It also helps to write your consignor number and price on the Ziploc with a Sharpie in case the tag comes off during the sale.

Toys, Furniture, Equipment

Must be clean and in working order (batteries included.) Small parts must be bagged and attached to the main part very securely. If parts get separated it will not sell.
Games should be taped closed. Puzzles, books, and small toys should be grouped accordingly and put in Ziploc bags. Secure with clear packing tape and pin tag to the Ziploc bag.

It would be very disappointing as a child to receive this and not be able to use it.

It is also good to write your consignor number and info on the Ziploc bag with a Sharpie in case the tag comes off. Large puzzles should be wrapped securely in clear Saran wrap to keep the pieces intact. Please make sure you have all the pieces for the puzzles, games, etc. Please do not tape DVD/VIDEO Game cases until they have been inspected.

TOYS NOT PACKAGED APPROPRIATELY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Large Little Tikes Toys and Furniture are in high demand! When tagging large toys, it is best to also attach a piece of masking tape to the toy with your consignor information. This will enable us to sell your toy even if the tag comes off!

Toy recall information- Due to the high number of toy recalls during the past year, we will be inspecting toys very carefully. We reserve the right to pull any toy that we think might have been recalled. To help us, please do not bring any toys that have been subject to a recall. Car Seats

Your car seat must have been manufactured within the past five years; it must NOT be subject to recall or have been in an accident. You must also be the original owner of the car seat. You may check the following website for current recalls: www.carseat.org/Recalls/179NP.pdf All seat covers and straps must be thoroughly cleaned. You will be asked to sign a car seat waiver stating your car seat has all the pieces and is in excellent condition and not more than five years old. Car seats will be closely inspected for safety reasons.

Sporting Equipment, Dance Costumes, Pageant Dresses!

We all love extra-curricular activities for our children. Recoup some of the costs by bringing in your like new sporting equipment, dance costumes, etc. Do you have a baseball bat that cost a ton and looks brand new? Do you have a million dance recital costumes that would be a ton of fun as dress up for another child? Did your child wear their baseball cleats for 2 games before they outgrew them? We want it! Bring it all in and recoup some of the cost!!!
